Florence

Got back from Pisa+Florence 3 days ago. Was too lazy to post up anything. I'm lazy to post up pic by pic so I collaged them.

None of us enjoyed the trip. By the third day, we were grumbling that the 4-day trip was too long and couldn't wait to come back to England!

Leaning Tower of Pisa was expensive. We paid 15euros to climb up the tower. 15 Euros for a morning exercise! I lost count of the number of steps on the way up. It was freeeezing cold too!

Florence... didn't quite enjoy it. Spent 2 days in Florence and a day in the outlet.
Food was expensive. The number one rip off is drinks. A glass of Coke/Orange Juice is 4Euros. And it's less than half a pint! We didn't order drinks after the first day. We bought bottles and bottles of mineral water from the local Supermarket and brought water with us every where we went.

We went to the Uffizi Gallery. After the first few rooms, I was yawning. I just don't appreciate the paintings there. The Louvre is much better! Went to Piazza Michaelangelo and I enjoyed that the most!! Breathtaking view! So 'Triumph In The Sky!' We also went to the Duomo (Dome) The rest of the time was spent shopping in the city centre and drooling over the Guccis, LVs, Pradas, D&Gs and yada yada.

We went to The Mall- The factory Outlet on the third day. I was hoping to bring home a few items from Gucci but in the end, I got nothing for myself but a Burberry Tie for my host father (Since his birthday is coming up in a few weeks time).

The accommodation we stayed was the worst placeI've ever stayed. (But then again... for the price I paid, I shouldn't complain much but really, I had expected it to be better) It was spooky. It was cold- heater wasn't working most of the time and I brought a thin PJ with me. The owner/staff couldn't speak proper English so we did the chicken and duck talk. The worst of all- the single beds had bed bugs! YIKES!

I came back to London with Baci, Mon Cheri, Kinder Buerno, biscotti, a wallet, a handbag, a tie, a cold and an itchy body- no thanks to the bed bugs in the B&B!

And I spent my Christmas with loads and loads of tissue papers! *Aaaa-Chooooo*

Can I have endless supply of Kleenex/Premiere as my Christmas present this year?
